We had recently went through a bad experience trying to close on a house and were on the verge of giving up. Some friends of ours who had recently purchased a home through Jeff Puckett recommended that we talk to him. From the beginning Jeff was always straight forward with us and never gave us any false hopes. As time went on we found ourselves in a situation where we had to either buy a house in a short amount of time or renew a one year lease on the place we were living. Given that, we decided to pursue searching for a house rather than throw our money away on rent every month. Jeff found the time to show us various houses around the area. During this time he was able to grasp the idea of what kind of house we wanted and from there he was able to narrow our search down to the style of houses we liked. I have to say that my first experience purchasing a home with little money down went surprisingly well.   Jeff worked really hard with every step of the process and was constantly on top of any out-of-the-ordinary items that popped up throughout the purchase. He also worked closely with the mortgage company and the City of Fort Collins on the mortgage and the down payment assistance program.
     Jeff was able to get a substantial mark down from the purchase price as well as other concessions from the seller (which I couldn't believe that we would be able to get.)   And the property has excellent resale value as similar properties have sold within a couple of months at prices higher than I purchased my property for.   I would have to say that Jeff certainly exceeded my expectations as a realtor.
    We closed on the property in less than 45 days (I think...); which is a hectic closing period within many tight deadlines to meet, but Jeff was equal to the task.
    I would definitely recommend Jeff Puckett as a realtor to first-time home buyers.
